Job Summary:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy aimed at increasing brand awareness and customer engagement for Amazon's various services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote our products, engage with our community, and amplify our brand voice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative social media strategies that align with Amazon’s marketing goals.
- Manage day-to-day social media activities, including content creation, posting schedules, and community engagement.
- Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Lead social media projects from start to finish, including campaign ideation, execution, and reporting.
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to produce high-quality multimedia content tailored for each platform.
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and feedback on social media channels.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to keep Amazon at the forefront of digital marketing.
- Prepare detailed weekly/monthly reports on social media performance and ROI analysis.
- Engage with influencers and partners to expand our reach and brand collaborations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to drive high-impact projects.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking with experience using tools like Google Analytics and social media analytics.
- Creative mindset and the ability to generate engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Organized, self-motivated, and capable of prioritizing multiple projects effectively.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is preferred.
